하늘에는 많은 별자리가 있다. 

There are many constellations in the sky.

점성술에 사용되는 별자리 열두 개는 양자리, 사자자리, 궁수자리, 황소자리, 처녀자리, 염소자리, 쌍둥이자리, 천칭자리, 물병자리, 게자리, 전갈자리, 물고기 자리 등이다. 

The twelve constellations of the horoscope are Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.

많은 사람들이 보기에 그것들이 형체들과 유사하게 보여서 그렇게 이름이 지어졌다.

이 따지며, 과거에 이것이 크게 유행하던 시절이 있었다. 우리말로 힘들게 '십이지 중 어느 동물에
해당하는 띠세요?' 라고 묻지 않고 간단히 '무슨 띠세요?'라고 묻는 것과 마찬가지로, 영어에서도
zodiac sign 대신 간단히 sign만 사용하는 경우가 많다.
