24.08.23 Unexpected Surgery

A few months ago, I went in for a check-up.

몇 달 전에 저는 건강 검진을 받으러 갔습니다.

The results showed that I have a growth in my abdomen that requires surgery.

그런데 내장에 혹이 있어 수술을 받아야 한다는 결과를 받았습니다.

We scheduled a date for the surgery sooner than I expected.

A major surgery would have been necessary in the past.

옛날 같으면 큰 수술이 필요했을 것입니다.

I’m trying to be cool about it by focusing on the positives, but I’m still a bit scared.

이렇게 긍정적인 부분들에 집중하면서 의연하려고 애쓰고 있긴 하지만, 아직 조금은 겁이 납니다.

I hope the painful recovery period will pass by quickly and that I will regain my health soon.
