John: Jane, have you heard that noise coming from upstairs?
존 : 제인, 그동안 위층에서 들려오는 소음 들었어?

Jane:Yes, it's been really loud lately. It sounds like thumping.
제인 : 응, 최근에 정말 커졌더라. 쿵쿵거리는 것 같아.
* loud : 소리가 크고 시끄러운
* thumping: 쿵쿵거리는

John :I know! I heard it again last night. It's getting really annoying.
존 : 그러게 말이야! 어젯밤에도 또 들었어. 점점 정말 짜증 나.
*annoying : 짜증 나게 하는

Jane:I think the neighbor has two kids, right? Maybe they're just playing? 
제인: 위층 이웃에 아이가 둘 있는 것 같던데, 맞지? 그 애들이 그냥 노는 건가?

John:Maybe, but it's so loud. It's like they're jumping around or something.
존: 아마 그렇겠지. 그래도 이건 너무 소리가 커. 마구 뛰어다니고 그러나 봐.
* jumping around : 여기저기 뛰어다니는

Jane : I agree. Maybe we should talk to them about it.
제인 : 나도 그런 것 같아. 아무래도 한마디 좀 해야겠어.
