25.01.22 An Unforgettable Trip 잊을 수 없는 여행

After my daughter graduated from college in 2013,

she went to Hastings, a city near London, England, for a language study program.

2013년도에 우리 딸은 대학을 졸업하고 나서, 영국 런던 근처에 있는 헤이스팅스(Hastings)라는 도시로 어학연수
를 하러 갔습니다.

 

As her three-month language course was coming to an end,

I planned a trip to meet her at Heathrow Airport in England. Together, we went on a package tour for 12 days.

We visited six Western European countries: England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and Germany. We took the trip together because I thought that my daughter wouldn't have time to travel with her mom once she landed a job and got married.

딸이 3개월간의 어학연수를 마칠 무렵, 저는 여행 계획을 세워 영국 히드로 공항에서 딸을 만났습니다. 그리고 우리 는 같이 12일간 패키지 여행을 했습니다. 영국, 프랑스, 스위스, 이탈리아, 오스트리아, 독일 등 서유럽 6개국을 방 문했습니다. 딸이 취업하고 결혼을 하면, 엄마와 같이 여행할 시간이 없을 것 같아서 이렇게 함께 여행을 했습니다.

 

In Rome, we visited the famous locations featured in the movie "Roman Holiday" and tossed coins into the Trevi Fountain. 

In Venice, we took a ride on a gondola and explored the city on water. We took lots of photos together and created wonderful memories.

로마에서는 영화 '로마의 휴일'에 나온 유명한 장소에도 가 보고, 트레비 분수에 동전도 던졌습니다. 베니스에서는 곤돌라를 타고 수상 도시를 구경했습니다. 우리는 같이 사진도 많이 찍고 좋은 추억도 만들었습니다.
